I learned about beauty from … my mother and grandmother, the strongest women I have ever encountered in my life. They’ve made so many sacrifices for our family throughout the years, and are a consistent reminder of what beauty is.  Recent accomplishments … I recently joined the OneMatch program (a stem cell and bone marrow network) to be a donor. Not exactly an accomplishment yet but, it is something I am proud of.   To me, beauty is … strength, perseverance and courage. People don’t know this but … I played the trombone for six years; I’m kind of a band geek.  I feel most beautiful when … I’m dancing my heart out. I absolutely can’t live without … sunglasses and prescription eye wear… I’m slightly addicted. I feel beautiful every day by … not thinking about it. I feel most beautiful when I’m carefree just living life.  My favourite quotation is …“Dance as though no one is watching you. Love as though you have never been hurt before. Sing as though no one can hear you. Live as though heaven is on earth.” – Souza  I hope to bring to the fashion world … the idea that beauty comes in all shapes and colours.  If I could tell a young girl anything I would say… there is more than one type of beauty in this world, embrace yours.  I like modelling because … it’s an opportunity to show a different side of me and be more involved with fashion, which I love. In the modelling world I would like to see … more diversity. Beauty cannot be defined with one word; it’s many things, so why can’t the many different types of beauty be represented?  My ultimate modelling job would be … for a high-end fashion brand like Prada. I know I’m not their “typical” model but I respect Prada and representing their brand would be a great accomplishment.
