If I could tell a young girl anything I would say … Be what you want to be, and do what you want to do. Don’t let anyone stop you from reaching your goals and dreams. And make sure to laugh a little along the way!  People don’t know this but … I dance to super loud music when nobody is home!  I absolutely can’t live without … the beach! I would call it my second home, it always puts a smile on my face and makes me happy. Three words: Sun, Sand, Sea!  To me, beauty is … something that comes from within.  I express myself through fashion by … staying true to what works with my body type. I will never follow a trend that does not represent me, and what I stand for. I like to accessorize my outfits, and I always have some sort of statement piece.  I feel most beautiful … in three scenarios. When I am on a beach with a tropical drink in my hand, soaking up the sun. When I am dancing to my favourite songs. When I am in sweatpants and a t-shirt watching TV!  My favourite quotation is … “I can accept failure, but I cannot accept not trying.” –  Michael Jordan  I hope to bring to the fashion world … a realistic healthy body image that young girls and women can look at and feel confident about themselves and the way they are. Currently there is not enough “real” (full figured) models in the industry for young girls to look up to. Personally, I’ve been challenged with my confidence and self esteem. I would compare myself to everyone else, and put myself down all the time, it was very destructive. My goal is that I will be able to help the fashion world realize that having super thin models on the runways can portray an unrealistic image to young girls. I try to make others feel beautiful by … allowing people to feel comfortable and confident with who they are. Everybody should be able to hold their head high and strut their stuff! My ultimate modelling job would be … for Marc Jacobs because he creates stunning figure flattering pieces that real women can wear. Plus he is a fantastic designer and I would love to model for his line.
