To me beauty is … confidence, generosity, empathy, loyalty. I feel most beautiful when … I’m in the sun, by the water barefoot with a loved one. I challenge the beauty ideal by … having the courage like so many other plus-size models to do what we do! The beauty ideal is changing before our eyes and I’m happy to be a part of it. My favourite quotation is … “In the scenery of spring there is nothing superior, nothing inferior – flowering branches are by nature short, some long.” Zen Proverb In the fashion world I would like to see … no more “PLUS-SIZE” stores! Every brand should carry every size – together. If I could tell a young girl anything I would say … it’s safe and liberating to accept who you are, to embrace what the universe has given you. It’s a gift and should be praised! We are all unique and beautiful and have great things to offer the world – let it shine through! I like modelling because … it’s allowed me to express uniqueness and my artistic side. I love to do creatives as I feel I can express little bits of my personality through photographs and I find that to be theraputic and liberating in itself. In the modelling world I would like to see … all sizes in all brands. I would like to watch a runway show of different proportions, ages, cultures all mashed up into one! My ultimate modelling job would be … walking down the runway for a high profile designer!
